What equipment do I need?

SprayTanSupermarket.com supply different types of spray tan machinery and a range of prices to suit all budgets. The information below explains the difference between a Turbine, Compressor and essential items you need.

Compressor Equipment: Compressors are much QUIETER than turbines. They automatically switch on/off to maintain constant pressure. Compressors are ideal for high volume use (lots of sprays), salons or tan parties. If you're serious about making a living spray tanning, a compressor is good value for money!

Turbine Equipment: Turbines are much NOISIER than compressors and generally NOT suitable for high volume use (eg. tan parties). If you anticipate you may be spray tanning a lot of customers DON'T BUY A CHEAP MACHINE: choose a more powerful PRO range Turbine or you run the risk of the equipment overheating.

Popup Cubicle & Tents: Essential for mobile spray technicians. A simple and easy way to help contain overspray with maximum flexibility, reduce your hours of cleaning and free up precious workspace. Extractor Fan: A MUST HAVE for spray tan businesses (salons or mobile). You must comply with Health & Safety guidelines to remove overspray and prevent inhalation of spray tan solution. Remember overspray can stains lungs, airways and cause breathing problems. Overspray also stains furniture and leaves an unpleasant lingering odour.

Solution: Solutions are sold in different DHA strengths for different skin tones (fair, medium or dark). Avoid switching brands and be consistent with a well known brand. Remember you must store solutions in a cool place out of sunlight or the product will go off quickly.
